The Centrile Sterile Core Renovation at Memorial Health in Marysville, Ohio, was a complex healthcare renovation project requiring careful planning and execution.
With a contract value of $531,262 and a timeline of 8 months, the project involved significant infrastructure upgrades to the sterile core area, including new lighting, power, and fire alarm systems. The electrical scope featured the installation of five new panelboards and one new isolation panel, all completed within the constraints of an active hospital setting.
Led by Messer Construction and engineered by Korda Nemeth Engineering, the project posed unique challenges due to the proximity to operational operating rooms. Extensive coordination and collaboration among stakeholders were critical to maintaining safety and functionality throughout construction. In addition to modernizing existing spaces, the team successfully created a new operating room, enhancing Memorial Health’s surgical capacity while ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
